The artworks on this exhibition were part of the excellent ones carefully selected out by Int’l examiners from the Collection Competition of the 2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture Program.

The 2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture Tour-Show was a large-scale event initiated proposed by Prof. Yuan, a famous artist in China and jointly held by Beijing Olympic Games Committee, the Sculpture Art Committee of Chinese Artists Association and Beijing Yiyuan Council for Promotion of Art and Culture. Since it was set in motion in 2005 the organizing committee has gathered from some 90 countries and regions of the world more than 3000 sculpture-programs. After the sorting by the Int’l examiners and appraisers the exhibition of the excellent artworks have been successfully held in 25 cities in China and the world as well, most of which are the world renowned cities such as Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Lausanne, Rome and Los Angles. Wherever the exhibition went it stroke up an unprecedented grand occasion and so objectively it has presented an art exhibition, the largest in scale in the history of culture and a creation of cultural dissemination, the widest in the Olympic Games history.

For the successful exhibition in Sacramento Mme Heather Fargo, Mayor the Sacramento city came in person and visited the site of the Organizing Committee of 2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture located in Jintai Art Museum. Le 9 octobre, inauguration au centre du parlement de la ville Sacramento, chef lieu de l’Etat Californie, Etats-Unis, de l’exposition itinérante des sculptures de paysage des Jeux olympiques 2008. Le consul général chinois PENG Keyu, Mme le maire Heather Fargo y ont prononcé d’importants discours. Y étaient présents, sur invitation, des parlementaires de l’Etat, des conseillers municipaux et des titulaires des médailles olympiques. Les œuvres exposées ont été soigneusement sélectionnées par le comité international de juges parmi les œuvres participant à la compétition des sculptures de paysage des JO 2008.

L’exposition itinérante des sculptures de paysage des JO 2008 est une activité grandiose culturelle, initiée par le célèbre artiste professeur YUAN Xikun et conjointement organisées par le comité d’organisation JO Beijing, le comité d’art sculptural de l’association des auteurs des beaux-arts de Chine et le conseil de promotion pour la culture et l’art Yiyuan de Beijing. Depuis le démarrage en 2005, le comité d’organisation a successivement réceptionné 3 000 projets d’œuvres, provenant d’environ 90 pays et territoires. Pour assurer une organisation réussie de l’exposition à Sacramento, Mme le maire Heather Fargo a fait une visite au musée des arts Jintai où se trouvait le siège du comité d’organisation des sculptures de paysage des JO 2008. Au cours d’un entretien amical, Mme le maire Heather Fargo s’arrêtait en même temps que M. YUAN Xikun devant la statue « urgence en zone polaire », créée par le conservateur YUN, au thème de la protection de l’environnement, et l’admiraient. Ce qui a fait M. le conservateur YUAN de penser aux statues de panthères dans les rues de la ville Sacramento. El 9 de octubre de ese año, se abrieron las cortinas de la Exposición de Esculturas Paisajísticas de los Juegos Olímpicos 2008 en el Centro de Reuniones de Sacramento, ciudad capital de California, EE.UU. Peng Keyu, Cónsul General chino en San Francisco y la Señora Fargo, alcaldesa de la ciudad de Sacramento, pronunciaron importantes discursos. Presentes en la ceremonia inaugural como invitados se encontraban congresistas del estado y de la ciudad, así como medallistas olímpicos. Parte de las obras de arte de esta muestra fue cuidadosamente seleccionada por examinadores internacionales de la Colección Competitiva del Programa de Esculturas Paisajísticas de los Juegos Olímpicos 2008.

La Exposición de Esculturas Paisajísticas de los Juegos Olímpicos 2008 fue un evento a gran escala propuesto por el profesor Yuan, famoso artista chino y realizado conjuntamente por el Comité Organizador Olímpico de Beijing, el Comité de Arte Escultórico de la Asociación de Artistas Chinos, y el Consejo Yiyuan de Beijing para la Promoción del Arte y la Cultura. Международная гастрольная выставка скульптур сцены Олимпиады 2008 как крупномасштабное культурное мероприятие было иниционировано известным деятелем искусства Китая профессором Юань Сикунем и проведено совместно Оргкомитетом Пекинской олимпиады, Комитетом искусства скульптуры Китайсквой ассоциации художников и Пекинской ассоциацией культуры и искусства Июань. С тех пор, как в 2005 году начали ход этой деятельности Оргкомитет получил из примерно 90 государств и районов 3000 проектов скульптур. Подобранные международными жюри отличные работы уже успешно показались в 25 крупных городах Китая и мира, таких, как Пекин, Сянган, Лондон, Лосан, Рим, Лос-Анджелес и др. Peng Keyu, console generale cinese a San Francisco, e Heather Fargo, sindaco della città, hanno tenuto importanti discorsi. Alcuni dei membri del Congresso di stato e della città, così come vincitori delle medaglie ai Giochi, erano stati invitati alla cerimonia di apertura.
